Dr. Danusiah Teanapen MD (UMS)

Dr. Danusiah is a dedicated and skilled physician who graduated from Universiti Malaysia Sabah and completed her housemanship at Hospital Kulim, Kedah. She has extensive experience across various medical departments, including Medical, Surgical, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, and Emergency. As a frontline worker during the COVID-19 pandemic, she demonstrated exceptional commitment and expertise in both the Emergency Department and COVID ward.

Following her tenure at Hospital Kulim, Dr. Danusiah served as a medical officer at Hospital Sungai Bakap, Penang, where she managed the Patient Admission Centre (PAC) in the Labour Room, honing her skills in antenatal scans and addressing antenatal issues. She later transitioned to the private sector, focusing on Men’s Health, Women’s Health, and Sexually Transmitted Infections.

Dr. Danusiah is fluent in Malay, English, and Tamil, enabling her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population. She is committed to maximizing patient wellness and delivering healthcare excellence through a compassionate and patient-centred approach.
